Physically Challenged Triathletes
Achilles is a worldwide organization, represented in sixty countries. Their mission is to enable people with all types of disabilities to participate in mainstream athletics, to promote personal achievement, enhanced self esteem, and the lowering of barriers between people.
There’s a place on the Southern California coastline where courage has many faces …a home for heroes where perseverance comes through the door with a first name …a caring organization where dreams are nourished and brave hearts strive daily to reach lofty goals. This place is unlike any other in the world. This is the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF).
Bsed in Atlanta, this organization is dedicated to bringing the disabled athlete into the sport of Triathlon. Their focus is to facilitate the athlete's development from initial training to race day. This organization was instrumental in helping our disabled triathletes get to to start line.
